As someone with curly hair, I’ve had lots of barbers who just don’t know how to work with my hair, especially in Ottawa. This was no issue at the Gray Whale. Can confidently say this was the best haircut Ive gotten since moving to the city two years ago. Very happy to have finally found my new go-to barbershop. There’s a reason they’re all booked months in advance, best and most skilled in the city!

I had a great experience at this barbershop! The prices are fair and not too high compared to other places. I got my haircut from Anton, and he did an excellent job — very professional, attentive, and really understood what I wanted. He also gave me some helpful tips on how to style and maintain my hair. Overall, I was very satisfied and will definitely come back. Highly recommend this place to any guy looking for a quality haircut!

Been coming here since it opened, became a regular along with my son, and it's by far the best barbershop I've ever been to. Strongly recommend sitting with literally anyone in the shop, they all do great work.
